This is a wonderful 1970s yellow safari jacket made by The Great American Clothing Company.

The jacket is made from a pale yellow heavy cotton fabric and is fully lined in a lighter yellow synthetic fabric. It fastens down the front with 3 buttons, has three front pockets and one small false pocket.  It has long sleeves with three decorative buttons on each sleeve.  The jacket has a 12 inch split at the back, two inverted back pleats and a false belt effect band around the waist.
