Like it or not animal/reptile skins play a big part in vintage clothing and accessories, and this bag is perfect example of just that.  

Cream in co lour don't know what type of snake it is but suspect its python. The pattern is very understated almost mottled.

Bag is quite sturdy and has a short handle attached either side of the bag, they attach to the bag in a diamond  then stand up on their own in almost a twist. The bag shuts with a round gold button clasp. The inside of the bag is cream cross grain with a double  side mirror/coin pocket of which one compartment zips with a brass zip.

This bag is in excellent condition apart from the inside is quite grubby and a small portion of the gold clasp has rubbed off. The actual skin itself is mint. .
