Caring for your stockings is something that is often overlooked, so to prevent tags and pulls it is better to wear a pair of nylon gloves when putting your stockings on. Wash gently by hand in a hand wash detergent or soap flakes. Remove excess moisture by placing in a towel then room dry. Finally store in a box with tissue in-between each pair to prevent snags.
